Cheers thomas that's exactly what it is, I tried touching this wire to ground to see if anything happened, it did the same as the ATT button.

Ahh, cool. So the blue wire that's in the block with the live, switched live and earth is the dash light.... And the other blue one that isn't in a block will be for a powered arial.... so i won't be needing to connect it to anything....?

Cheers Dj.

you connect it tho the lights in ure dash, so when you turn ure side lighs on and the dash lighs up, the HU lights up too

I know which wire is the amp remote, and it isnt one of these 2....!? What's the dash light?

these are most likely to be dash light, and remote amp switch, because some cd playes have a remote amp switch live, and an electric aerial switch live speprately

Just got a Sony Xplod, bought it off a mate. A few wires are confusing me though. I've got the block with 8 wires, obviously for the speakers, thats fine. Then I have the earth, live, switched live and amp remote. Then, I have a dark blue wire, which is connected to a block, i just want to know what it is. And, more importantly, I have a light blue wire which isn't connected to anything, would like to know what this is and if I need to connect it to anything.

Cheers in advance!
