I've added another hanger to the rear of my backbox. It's stiffened the exhaust up and lifted it from the rear axle.

As said twist the backbox, if that doesn't give enough clearance then a bit of rubber will do the job.

The glove will be fine its not like it's constantly touching it anyway

Mine has standard system, lowered on coilovers about 50-60 mm and no banging.. I just twisted the back box around till I had clearance and it's perfect

If you've lowered your car and it's still on standard system it bangs on rear axle! Mine used to do it but now I have a system on it's gone :)

Slacken the joints and twist the back box and centre section, till you've got enough clearance.

Yeah it helped on my black one when i had it, but depends how badly it hits the beam.

What condition are your exhaust rubbers in?

shorter/less slack ones may bring it up enough to clear the beam, but depends how bad it is.

hi, i have had a problem with my corsa b. the exhaust was banging on the rear axle near where the handbrake cable runs ! i have cable tied a welding glove where the exhaust was knocking and this seems to have cured it, but i want a proper fix as dont now how much heat the welding glove can take ??? can anyone help ???
