Ohhh its for some chav-bass :D

My confusion stems from the bad English:

The subject of this thread is ""Urgent... how to get a live wire to the battery??"

So the last subject was "The battery".

The post then starts "i have it in the boot".

I apologise :)

Phonos go from head unit to amp. And same with the remote wire. (Usually goes to the blue wire at back of head unit, some come with a seperate short piece you can connect to.)

Also fun the phono leads down the opposite side if you can, as will prevent a loss in sound quality.

You should have four altogether
Live
Ground
Remote
Phono

The long live wire is connected to the + on the battery, the earth I normally do to a seatbelt or seat bolt (that feeds back via the car body to the - on the battery)

The gromet on the drivers side is only free if you have a 1.0 12v or 1.2 16v, if not it's got all the engine loom running through it :)

There is one behind the glovebox, taking it out makes life much much easier :D

I normally cut a little X in it with a knife then shove some long long nose pliers through, get someone to open them up, put the cable in, close them and PULL :D

big gromet with load of cables goin through it behind glove box, cut a slit in either side (inside car and engine side) and push it through there. no need to drill any holes

Send it through the drivers side and through the main wiring loom grommet then back across to the battery.

Or,

Send it through the passenger side and drill a hole for it, then fit a grommet around that hole and send it up to the battery.
