On the arch rolling thing:
Im gona get all my sh!t 2getha and slap it all on. if it scrubs, well, fuk it. its gona have to be hacked. u need to make sum sacrifices and loose sum skin off ur knuckles to get ur car looking that little bit better.
if ur worried about not knowing wat the hell were talking about with trimming the arches, have a look in the haynes max power book, i only noticed the other day that its got sum pretty gd pics on how 2 do it, even if its not the best way to do it.
BUT will giv u a gd idea of wat were talkin about

Do u have to take plastic liner out to cut it or could u just do it with a sharp stanley... is there ne pipes/lines/wires directly behind liner u could catch?

tnx

Another question i forgot to ask,

does scrubbage on the inner wheel arch ( the inability to use full lock without scrubbing), plastic wheel arch and generally anything lead to an MOT failure???

Amazing what a bit of moaning can do. ;)

Cheers Tim, MOST appreciated. :)

Each and every car is different due to manufacturing tolerances. Some obscure 17s may be availble in 6.5", especially Irmscher ones...

ET45 will be perfect for a 17, but you will get some scrubbage with lots of passengers.

Most people remove the bolts in the rear arches and also trim the plastic back with a knife. You may want to have your arches professional rolled or cut to give you some more room to play with...

Are 17s available in 6.5" width????

When you say it took the arch off once, was the arch glued on or bolted on????
Trimming the arches???? Do you mean the plastic arch?? How much trimming?
Cheers for the help matey.

ok, well et45 7" monzas on 40mm lowered corsa were fine, but on full lock and nasty corners there was some scrubbage, one time even took the corsa arch off. It involves trimming the arches. Never got round to it tho

Simple question:

17" Team Dynamics Tornados or phantoms et45 7" tyre width
Lowered 40mm on Gmax kit

Any scrubbage????
Any scrubbage on FULL lock???

If so, where and how to cure??
