Does your car have a sunroof? If so the sunroof sits in a tray which has a drain pipe at each corner. Sometimes the pipes come loose allowing water to run onto the roof liner. Drop the liner down a little and check the pipes.

mine leaked once about a month ago when car was sat in heavy rain then i drove it and all water slid along roof to back, it leaked through interior light like u said, i traced fault to the aerial base on the roof, the rubber seal/base at bottom had perished n shrunk n split lol
