No, if you buy from a 2.0 conversion expert like PVD, you will be supplied a kit with the correct springs for your engine.

You'll need custom springs if you have coilovers.

My mate has just been quoted £3K from CossVaux for full 2.0 16v conversion on Nova, with engine bay strengthened, gearbox, wiring loom and some bodywork. Not sure what but it aint much, sounds a lot to me.

Yeah but you can't change it! This is the setup I've got on C3 and it's not all that bad.

Thing will coilovers is that they have so many settings the average person will never change them anyway. On the rally scene people are mainly still using fixed platform bilsteins I believe(on nova's) these with tarmac spec springs are meant to be the ultimate in Nova handling.

Bollcocks about coilovers. Most kits are purely height adjustable, some are damping adjustable. Coilovers have 3 main advantages, firstly they can be supplied with springs of a high enough poundage for the weight of the engine. Secondly the drop can be set as you want it as some "2.0 springs" out there drop the car about 10mm! Thirdly coilovers offer handling benefits over a shock and springs setup if the car is fairly low.

You can't uprate the Corsa master cylinder.
As for crap, pedal feel isn't so good but actual braking performance is superb.

Brakes - either 2.0 GTE disks and calipers (£50 odd from brakers) or V6 Disks and calipers (£200 brand new from v-tunning on mig web)

2.0 and 2.0 turbo - depends where u live mate and how far u wanna travel

Beardy in manchester will do 2.0 turbo conversion all in for 2.5k and the 2.0 for 1.5k all in i think

if ur southern then lee from kent will do it, cant remember what he charges but its fuckin good

drilled and grooved aint worth the money if your only after performance.

Can do a DIY 2.0 16v for about £700.

Rite can anyone give me an idea on how much money, Start-Finish 2.0 and 2.0 turbo conversions would cost?? Converting a 1.2 corsa 93-L reg. 3 Door. Also what will have to be purchased? obviously full engine gearbox loom etc. But am i best using a PVD kit? What rakes are best to use etc?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.
Chris.
