I was thinking about getting the parts off a starlet turbo or somthing simular

What mm of head gasket are we talking?
Its going to be a bitch to get it to run right and reliable but it will be done lol

And i dont want to c20xe or c20let it because I want to do somthing different and I want my car to handle well.

Trust me dude I'm in your boat. Pistons are gonna be around 500 and the Turbo will be about 350... Thats C20LET money...

thats not really c20let money.. as with the c20let you need diffrent gearbox, shafts, mounts ect all ads up

jst relised i dont think they have an airflow meter

to do it the dodgy way..., t3 turbo welded to standard manifold, take high pressure oil feed from oil pressure switch, mount oil pressure switch in high pressure turbo feed pipe,
get power box from flame off here,
drill into sump for oil return pipe from turbo,
2 head gaskets and a spacer to lower compression.
the airflow meter wont cope with the amount of air being forced in so you will probly need aftermarket mangment that can sence boost / control boost

to be brutally honest, it would be far more cost effective to not bother.

I could do the job myself I would just like to know where to source the parts from e.g the manifold the turbo ect any help or comments from people who have done it would be great.

p.s before anyone says I know theres a set up in the classifieds but I would like to build my own from scratch
