Just turn your bass up then hunt down the loudest rattles usually on the tailgate then see what it is alot of rattles come from behing the tailgate cover covering the tailgate lock and rear wiper motor, just tighten things up and tape lose wires down and if needs be get some foam and pack it out!!! It can make a hell of a lot of difference!!!!! Also check your install for rattling wires screws etc etc!!!

by saying you dont have the funds for sound proofing, your saying you dont have the funds for dynamat :D, go to Wicks and get some flashing strip/tape for £15 for 10m or to b&q and it will be £25. Its enough to do your entire boot and it works a fcukin treat matey. Just done all of mine with it. Also, check ur number plate cos thats usually the rattling barsteward. Screw it down tight and put some foam padding or something behind it.

Trust me, enough sound deadening do to the boot floor and inside the tailgate :D
