Just put the new CTS in and it's still the same.

Mine doesn't struggle to rev at all just idel and it overfuels, lots of black smoke.

It idels ok when the EML comes on but then when it goes off it just dies.

Any suggestions??

yes its telling the engine it`s still cold, when its warmed up.this will make it over fuel, i`ve just had trouble with my 16v, tickin over lumpy and struggling to rev, changed the temp sensor, ivc and the tank vent. this seem`s to have fixed it.

If it's broken it can yes. Cheap part; www.autovaux.com will stock it.

I'm at my witts end with my car now.
This is the sensor that plugs where the radiator pipe bolt's to the engine and it has that sensor in it, that is the Coolant temperature sensor aint it.

And will this cause excesive over fueling and idleing problems, lumpy tick over, even cutting out?
