would definately reccomend the rainbown slx 265 deluxe components.

that and buying some sound deadening to it's actually amazing how noticeable the difference is.

sound deadening material on the door is also very very very very very very worth doing.

got some £30 infinity 2 ways in mine, 13cm and they're alright, but got most my sound coming from 2x 6.5 infinity woofers from a comp set amped in the boot lol

Here we go boyo.:.

First off i dont think your headunit is 60w RMS thats a bit much for a headunit. Probablt 60 watts peak. Anywho.

You can get speaker adaptor plates from Halford, which will allow 6" speakers to fit in fine. If you dont want to use 6" the proper size is 5.25" you can buy most speakers in either size. Your best bet (if you dont mind spending a bit more) is getting some Components.(check my ICE list at the top of this board for details) They will cost around £100 up to £500 depending on make and quality. These are a very good investment. just keep hold of your standard ones if you go to sell your car. You can amp them up, and they will SING.

Hope this helped.

Steve.

hi im buying an alpine head unit, and cd changer soon, and have got some Sony explode 6x9s in the rear shelf.

want some speakers for the front doors now coz the alpine head unit had 4x60w RMS so i dont think the front speakers would do it justice, and wouldnt last long.

What speakers do you recommend what size, as ive heard that some speakers are 2 deep to go in coz they get in the way of the window?

Thanxs for any help :D
