ive got 17s et45 on and lowered 60mm, scrubbed a little at first but its stopped now tyre walls have word a little :)
also, simply de bolt the back arches and matbe trim the plastic arch a touch and you will be ok.
it u have a kit on, id wait til u get bigger wheels before lowerin it... my mate had full kit fitted when he had his 15s on and he smashed the front within ten mins....

ive got 16's and a 60mm drop and its ok, but arch mods were needed and it still scrubs slightly but nothing to major!!! ive got the rieger kit on mine and is just high enough for speed bumps but if your going to get a combat kit or similar you will have problems!!!
Also the 60mm drop looks far better than the 40mm drop, trust me ive had both!!!

Don't know bout everyone else but my birds got 15's with 40mm drop and kit scrapes alot. It depends on how low the kit your planning on is though.
And yep u can have 16" with 60mm drop
