yep that was for cambelt change on x16xe with a/c , I misread the post, still a lot of money.

Yeah but surely that £300 was for a cambelt? never had a corsa with air con but its easy on one with PAS which uses the same belt, just put a crowbar in the tensioner and turn it to slacken the belt then slide the belt off the alternator. Easy to take it out then refit the new one in the same way.

Is the tensioner broken?

I asked how much a few weeks ago at w/x vauxhall to fit new belt and tensioner rollers etc £300 + .
