You've got an airlock.. let the engine warm up, remove the coolant header tank cap and squeeze the heater matrix hoses. | |

I occasionally get this. Seems to have gone now. Car never overheats though which is symptoms of airlock. | |

Bleed the cooling system and use new coolant and try again. | |

had this in an old 1.2, had coolant changed and it stopped. | |

When the car has been left for a few hours, or over night, i turn the car on and there is a noise coming from near the dashboard area. |
