I get this problem with the EGR valve sometimes when it fooks up, the revs just bounce from 1,000 to 400

Best bit is fixing it - all that's required is a good blast up the road

I'd say a split pipe

same as my old sri..

1st thing check all air pipes mine had a cut in the air pipe causing it to rev really low.

Also is your eml on is no then i reakon its a spilt pipe.

if yes its the idle valve or the air flow mass sensor get it checked up dude :)

was they changed in april? just take them out and check them to see if they are black or the gap between the bottom of the spark plug is too big

i believe thats the engine code yeah, its a 1.2 1996 P reg, is it the idle control valve the could be the problem?

car was fully serviced in April this year, it starts no problem at all, the problem is when slowing for junctions etc, and idling

just noticed this yesterday morning as i pulled up at my girlfriends house, revs dropped to around the 1000 on the dot almost, car was juddering and felt like it was going to stall, then last nite it was even worse, had to rev the tits off it to keep from stalling, it seems to only do it when i first start the engine, and also when going into 1st gear stopping at junctions and pulling up etc, thanks for any ideas and advice
