Thats exactly whats happened to me.

Keith, it was the vauxhall garage in brora.

Kwik fit is 70 miles from me, so it would cost me more to get it redone there

You get a 30 day guarentee with the tracking at kwik fit just take it back with your recipt they should adjust it free of charge, if they dont tell them your not happy and are going to head office. They will soon adjust it.

If you've got FKs, then yes you can adjust the camber

So you put it in sumwhere ekse and they didnt notice the camber was out? :o Where was this? :look:

So I went into get the tracking done again, came out and it was just as bad

So took the wheels off, and looked around. Noticed that the top bolt on the strut mount on the hub can be adjusted, so I assume its for camber? One side was pretty much opposite to the other, so would explain why the drivers side wheel was at a hellish camber.

So ive set both sturts to the same, and now I need to pay for tracking again as its way, way, way out now

dont take it to vaux, unless they have a computerised one, if its the corsa in your avatar they will probably need to adjust the camber as well

Noticed the wheesl are at a hell of a camber too :S

Nearest place I can get it done is the local vauxhall garage, so I booked it in there for tomorrow, hopefully that will cure it.

Checked the ball joints and track rod ends, all appear fine, but the end of the steering rack boot on the passenger side has come off, could it be that the steering rack itself is fucked, causing it to pull off to one side?

Ill book it in for tracking again, but what else could it be?

There was your mistake :o why take it there  if its out again take it back these fast fits normally ask you to come back after a few weeks anyway to re check it

I personaly would have taken it sumwhere else where the staff are actually proper mechanics not just fitters :o

Could be a bent wishbone, but unlikely unless you've used a kerb for a ramp.

By the by, if you find a smaller privately owned place for the tracking it'll cost much less. I went in asked kwik-fit not that long ago and got told it was £25 for tracking. A guy I know who owns a little tyre place has the gear and did it for £12.

Worth shopping around if you're bothered anyway
