It means you have no oil pressure!

You may need to replace your oil pump in the worst case.

You may have an oil leak somewhere, or you may just need to do an oil and filter change if it is low on oil.

just bought my corsa [1.4 sport, s reg] and its awesome to be fair, but every now and again when i am driving, the oil pressure light comes on on the dash, sometimes its constant, sometimes it flickers like mad. There seems to be no pattern to it, it comes on when i drive fast, drive slow, just whenever it feels like to be honest.
Any ideas? any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers
