Hi did you sort this problem?

yer ecu light works, well i would borrow sum sensors... but i dont know which ones to check now. I will check the cat 2mora, then i dont know wot else it could b :(

2 things maybe worth checking i would still have a look at the cat to rule it out give a hit with your hand when cold see if it rattles around i had this one of my other car similar symptoms

the other thing is does the ecu light actually work? maybe find someone local to yourself with the same engine and borrow the sensors off of it see itf that helps

the only other thing i have ever heard of was the end of an injector falling apart but dont hold me to it

no its just the same all time, ive changed :- crank sensor, Throttle Body, EGR valve, Engine Temp sensor, idle control valve, TP sensor, Air mass sensor, Lambda Sensor Re - Timed engine, Fuel Pressure Regulator. All i hav left is the cam sensor, knock sensor and a couple others and the whole F***ing thing has had everything done. REALLY NEED HELP GUYS AND GALS !!!!!

plugs av dun bowt 1000 miles and ive never changed the leads, just swapped them from another engine that had done 56000

The plugs might be black for another reason other than over-fuelling, it can just be a sign of poor combustion rather than running rich. how old are the plugs and leads?

hmm i dont know, ive never looked, will that cause over-fueling??

Any sign of the ECU light?

starts-up fine, Smells really bad of the cat at the backbox and smells very very rich from exhaust too. Doesnt run as good, doesnt pull as good through the gears or top-end. Absolutely DRINKS petrol and the Spark Plugs are very very BLACK & SOOTY. Oh.. and u get to about 2700rpm in 5th gear and it jerks like f**k and i mean jerks the whole car back and forth. Oh yer, by the way, its an x14xe !! lol. Any suggestions then they would be greatly appreciated guys and gals.
