Just read that post again, i have the EXACT same oil leak
Runs off the engine mount and around the bottom pully area.
Fook knows where its coming from.

I thought cam seal, but inside the belt cover is dry. And the cam cover isn't leaking either as far as i can see.

if the leak is that high i wouldnt of thought it would be the pump. may be a cam seal or rocker

Just normal gasket sealent/Rtv
Dont put too much on the sump face tho, as you dont want it seeping into the sump and sticking in the pickup pipe.

E18

"wiggling" the sprocket usually gets it off. lol

Ive had to crowbar/hammer them off before tho.

Sump also needs come off aswell, so the downpipe needs be off too.

if the belt is off its easy. about 6 bolts holding it on just get a new metal gasket when you fit the new one. if the pump is fine just replace the gasket and crank end seal.
