Take it to a bodyshop. They will machine polish it with some Finesse for a few quid which will tidy up the paint. What happens is the paint under the badge doesn't fade so much or get covered in scratches and shit like the rest of the paint does. A good polish will hpoefully tidy it up considerably.

i dont think its faded, i can see the outline of vauxhall in black. theres a few scratches from using a credit card as a scraper:mad:

can you see the glue, grey/black stuff, or is it faded? or is it covered in light scratches from rubbing like a bastard with white spirit?

just use t-cut, it will be fine!

Just T-cut it, the colour has possibly faded under the Laquer though. If thats the case then theres nothing you can do.

not sure what you mean. i think its metalic paint with a coat of laquer. thats what the guy i bought it off said anyway...

Is it the glue still, or the actual lacquer?

And why can't you T-cut metallic paint, I have before?

i was using white spirit but it dosent seem to be doing much. the club badges on the doors came off without leaving any marks like this. cant t-cut, its metalic green with laquer
