using a deep drop neck ring spanner and alan key/grips/spanner (im lowered already but std suspension is different) loosen the top mount nut ONLY HALF A TURN!!! so its easier to take off later.

thats the bit im struggling on,it wont loosen

it spins but so does the inside of the spring if that makes sense.ive been told to use a ring swan neck spanner.

Did the top nut just keep spinning?

There's a guide in the FAQ section:

You have to undo the top nut half a turn while the struts still onthe car. Makes it so much easier :)

hi all

bought my 60mm lowering springs off voyto last night, well pleased with them...cheers mate

my cars lowered 40mm at the moment on standard struts,i know its a risk but its what its like for the time being

lowered the back of my car today with the 60mm springs no trouble what so ever, come to the front and got the struts off.put the spring tensioners on but couldnt get the top nut off for the top mount

is there a special spanner to use on this?
