diferent bumpers are made of different types of plastic, the codes are stamped on the inside for example pp etc etc

soldering iron and some strips of the same type of plastic, make the edges of the pieces being welded into a V shape, then melt it all together

dunno how right it is but thats how i was taught and its worked fine when ive done it, although thats not a lot to be honest

or fibre fill basicall u mix the same amount of filler with fibreglass add the hardner mix it and fill the bits u need so easy 2 rud works all the tym and remember and sand everything down ull be fillin first unlike ruff buggers that say oh u can just fill over the paint u cant it does stick the same as onto the plastic with no paint

i would say drill some small holes in the recess for the filler to go through and then smooth it off at the back too, just to give it the extra adhesion, it might not make a huge difference but for the one minute it takes its worth a try

having it plastic welded would be the most ideal way, but if thats not an option you ban buy Isopon Bumper Fill, which as the name says, is for filling bumpers, then give it a skim of cataloy

ah right, if you use filler i guess it'll crack due to the amount you'll be using.

so maybe fibreglass would be better... but i don't know, best to ask someone who has done theres

what bits are you smoothing?

do you mean smoothing like sanding grey plastic to be sprayed/colour coded?

or smoothing as in..... erm.... making all smooth?
