i just squeeze pipes until it stops bubbling in header tank. Put it on a switch?

I think it would mate yeah. Bleed the coolant system and wait for the fan to kick in.

Update on yesterdays post about engine overheat.

Going to get it sniffer tested as soon as it's safe to move so hopefully that will confirm or rule out any head gasket problem but....

Fan not cutting in when engine up to temp and, a lot of bubbling in water res. Airlock perhaps? But, would this stop the fan working?:boggle: And could these two things be connected? Longshot but, if airlock in rad before thermoswitch would this stop fan cutting in? Or would it be something else?

Thermoswitch new as is radiator.

And how do you sort out a possible airlock problem?
