so i guess that wen modding a f28 to except the sensor it dosnt have to be as accurately posistioned as a cable type one?
would you be able to diy it do you think?

electronic is a hall effect sensor, similar to crank sensor.

can anyone explain how the speed sensor works for elctronic and cable driven speedos when taken from the gearbox.
have heard that on cable driven two cogs line up in the box to turn the drive. if this the same for electronic or does it work like the crank sensor.
reason is need to convert f28 by drilling the box to fit the sensor. clocks are electronic but car dont have abs so picking up off abs sensor isnt an option.:boggle::boggle:
