yeah they do lock from both doors.

So it should be relatively easy?

if your central locking operates from both door locks then its easy with the universal halfords kit.About £30,if it doesnt lock from both doors then you need to get a hold of a motor and wiring kit.The wiring in of a remote system is actually a piece of piss.

I had no central locking . .
The only problem with aftermarket is you will have to drill the multiplug to get the wires to fit! But if you already have central locking, you just wire 2 wires into your current c/l ECU, and job done :P

I have one off the bay from a company called DIY-GTI - Very friendly service, fast postage, and good bit of kit (although the range is around 5 meteres, which could do to be improved, or i could try putting the ariel in a beetter place, lol)

I think you may be able to use Vectra central locking parts, not too sure.
