ye the relay clicks but im get a strong smell of fuel when ive been for a run in it

not allways able to hear it that well tho so it might. if there was no fuel pressure it wouldnt start let alone run. there should be a relay in the drivers side kick panel if its a 16v a think listen for it click

you should hear it prime up for about 4 seconds when the ignition is switched on.

fuel pump doesnt kick in till engine cranking, sound normal to me

i think i have a problem when i switch my ignition on i should here the fuel pump buzz but i dont ,i also have no fuel pressure because ive pressed the button on the fuel rail and theres no fuel squirtin out, but the car starts and runs fine i just want to no if this is safe (i.e if i had a crash)would the fuel pump stop,if its been bodged how do i wire it properly so the fuel pump primes properly.need info quick so i can sort thanks :thumbs:
