You should fill through the breather on top of the gearlinkage turret (17mm nut with a plastic cap) so it fills the gearbox then flows over into the diff and out through the 13mm bolt on the side of the diff casing.
You want an EP80/90 gear oil.

There is no filter there is a fill up hole on the top and an over flow plug on the side

Now which parts from above the gearbox do i need to remove to get to the filler. Also where on the box is the level hole?

The gearbox oil is a non service item. It doesn't need topping up. There is some mechanical error there.

Hi. my gearbox is starting to squeal and to crunch when releasing the clutch. So I going to top up the gearbox oil. Now which parts from above the gearbox do i need to remove to get to the filler. Also where on the box is the level hole?
