ive got the centre box taken out of my corsa c 1.2 ans it as a power increase over standard wheni got it rolled last year.
it is a tad bogy at low revs but when it gets over 2k it start to move, ive now laos got a custom built down pipe from the bottom of the cat and it feels as if its got a bit quicker from before but it ive got to get it rolled again to see if theres an increase over last time

Don't bother removing it, Jason.
Costs money to get it done and it might sound raspy, which is crap.
Loud exhausts are annoying too.

If u want it loud peco do a stainless strait throw section 4 around £70 it will make ur corsa louder like mine but if u get a de-cat pip as well it will gain a more powerful flow throw the exurst and Mack it as loud as fuck when and when u slow down to will splutter like a Subaru.
But if u just get the strait throw pip the back presher will drop but that’s a good thing coz that means the fumes are getting removed faster so u will get more pressure out your tail pip.
De-cat pipes are about £150 or more.

I removed my center section on my X16XE and it made it go a LITTLE better.

you'll lose back pressure and your ecu isn't configured to run with this drop so yes you;ll lose power :)

and your last question no... some cat backs do have center silencers but smaller one's

would this make the car loose power? on a 1.2 want it for the extra noise

or is ti better getting a cat-back system?

isnt removing the centre silencer same as a cat back system because it doesnt have a silencer :boggle:
