they changed ownership, they still work. lexmaul can only be bought direct from lexmaul in germany now, no uk supplier of the inlets.

The Mantzel is the midpricest one with hp gain of about 20.
The Dbilas is by far the most expensive, but the hp gain is about 25 till 30.
When you take the TB's from Dbilas you can gain up to 35hp at the some cost.
Velos makes also these kinds of inlet manifold, but here in the Netherlands never seen them.

Here everybody buys the Mantzel.

Velos no longer exist.

thats kinda worrying... have to say looking at it i dont see how it makes a difference...

broster... jr had a manztel on his 1.4 so its kinda hard to compare that to a lexmaul on a 1.6:P

i have have a manztel on a c16xe and i find it pulls like an expresstrain...well did before the engine started using a litre of oil a week:o

id have a lexmaul again every time, think jr is more impresed with his lexmaul than his manzel too as for suffering at peak revs, this graph looks to pullstrong all the way thru....

a lexmaul equpied engine

ive had 3 mantzel boxed engines. very happy with them all, but ive also fitted a few dbilas inlets.

if i started again i would definately buy a dbilas. much better build quality than a mantzel. much easier to fit, better design imo. no difference in how they perform, but an overall better design.

dont know about lexmaul. the design puts me off (keeping the long restrictive inlet) but apparently they work well. although they do have more midrange, they suffer at peak revs.

hmmm decisions! i think ill end upgoing for the mantzel! But, i do a lot of track days so maybe some more mid range might be useful!
However i really dont like how the lexmaul keeps the pipe under the inlet! so a mantzel i think it will be!

I wasnt disapointed at all with my lexmaul, but couldnt compare to a mantzel box as i have never drivren one but there supposed to really pull like a train at 5k and above!! The lexmaul does this also but does not pull as hard its like corsa_godfather said the low down torque which makes them so nice!! Honestly though if i were building another x14xe / x16xe powered car id be tempted to give the Mantzel a try.

i just fitted mantzel 2 days ago.amazed at the power after 5000 rpms.

im happy with it good gains for the money.

lexmaul.dont get as much gain from them just bolting on but apparently they are more every day driveable as power is mid range where as mantzel is high range.

dont know about dbilas though
