I have a straight through centre section (no middle silencer) and I have to be honest i'm not keen on the sound...its not too loud, but it just doesn't sound that nice. I'm not sure what a 1.0 corsa C would sound like though, i don't think engine size matters particularly, its all to do with the design of the exhaust system which decides the sound.

how long is the middle silencer, im going to be fitting it for him and i need a rough idea of the length of the pipe i will need.

well, its not going to cost much to get a pipe welded in and if it sound s horrible then just buy a new middle box

it only cost me £15 to get a pipe welded in at my local zorst place

its not for my car - my mate has a 1.0 corsa c and he wants the car to sound like its (how can i put this) better. hes wants to install a new middle silencer because he has a hole in it the size of my little finger, i think he should save his money and install a piece of pipe instead of the middle silencer and i think it will sound like a suberu like popping and humming, but he thinks it will sound a bit raspy.

what do you think

i got a local companet to cut the box out and weld a piece of pipe in, it all depends on what engine you have and what back box you have, weather it sounds nice or just loud and raspy

if i take it off and replace it with a pipe will it make the car sound nasty,
what did you use.
