You need to take your engine out complete with it's wiring loom and ECU. You then just replace your engine, wiring loom and ECU with the equipment from a Nova... Your gearbox and driveshafts will be up to the job too so no need to worry about them. You could fit the engine with twin Webber 45's to get a bit more power, then all you need is an ignition system from a Nova with carbs....

thinking of changing my engine to a 1.6 8v from a astra or nova gte/gsi
i have a 1.4 16v engine but think it's not going to last much longer top end is really tapping and smokey and wont run right , swaping the engine should be no probs just the wiring inside the car ie: ecu chip in the would have to be removed?
