i had something similar last nite; was going along, braked and the pedal whent right down and the abs came on then the pedal was a bit spongier than usual so i stopped checked for leaks pumped the pedal up and then it was sound:boggle:

iv changed my mc and just about everything else!!! how can pedal positon be ajusted??

what probs do u get with compensator?
without servo pedal still doesnt pump up hard.

what your experiencing is the standard corsa brakes. get some braided hoses

Compensator valve or corroded brake lines

I'd check the seal on the master cylnder, failing that you can adjust the pedal so it's already compressed the MC slightly, but that's just curing symptoms not fixing the problem.

YEAH BLED THE SYSTEM AT WORK,HAS NEW CYLINDERS

I think your meant to bleed a corsa system eg: front left, rear right, front right rear left, something like that. Can be a pain if you can't bleed it at the back.

Could be your master cylinder, a garage will check it for you. Bleeding brakes can take a long long long time, it might go right or very wrong!

Test the master cylinder if thats ok, get a garage to bleed it for you, that way if your not happy you can take it back and say its unsatisfactory!

Probably got alot of tiny bubbles in the system, can be a real arse to do!

(check the seals on the back cylinders in the drums, could be leaking)

C16XE GSI WITH ABS PEDAL GOES ALONG WAY BEFORE IT BRAKES,HAVE BLED SYSTEM,ADJUSTED REAR BREAKS,CHECKED BRAKE LINES.
CAN ANYONE HELP? IS IT SERVO,MASTER CYLINDER?
