im getting confused when you said sump gasket, i thought you were referring to the sump nut washer :lol: yes i suspect you will need a ramp to refit a sump gasket. dont quote me on that though. | |

Thanks for that info but when I look at the leak it is from were the sump meets the engine at the front opposite the radiator not arround the sump plug is that what u meant | |

hi ruebs, the sump gasket is really easy to do, quite simply, get under the car, and locate the sump plug, unscrew, drain oil into container, fit gasket, replace and tighten up plug and refill with some fresh oil. Why you are at it, fit a new oil filter, which is the canister shape thing at the front of the engine near the bottom of the block. | |
