You cant be more wrong. The quality of parts used have a great factor on resistance. Shit materials = more resistance = shit power cap.




Im going on what I have seen and have been proved at MF2K bespoke Installations.
I have seen them test a rocky foz cap alongside a Maplin/Shark one and get the exact same resistance etc.

Are you going to be able to tell the difference?

i had one and it was ace... compared to my last system it really tighten it all up... had an uprated battery and alternator before.. but was still gettin some power delivery problems... then the cap smoothed that all out :D

they r fear, if u find the need for one u need a bigger alternator simple as, they just move the problem down the line not solve it.

or u cud use a BATCAP, they work differently and actually do keep the voltage stable, not cheap tho at £200 +.

The only thing i would touch tho.

Everyone reckons that power cpas are really shit!

But since ive been using one i can honestly say its really helped my system and helped with dimming and big bass drops!

Its down to prsonal opinion i spose but i like them and you'll notice alot of people using them so they cant be all that bad!

Doesnt matter if its SPL-X or Rocky Fos they do the same job, not a huge lot.
