Better weight distribution I guess, I might have to do this soon as my battery tray is snapping off :o :o

How many metres did you get and need Adam?

Would have to be a hell of a fuse as starter needs 100A + when cranking, a breaker would be better IMO. What about fusing/breaking the other end (engine bay) between altenator and battery...

Dont forget the inline fuse near the battery.

Yeah i agree with Adam-D. Sounds spot on
Jus use some beefy powerful cable for the positive feed to minimise any voltage drop, i'd say at least 4AWG

take the batterey out
unbolt your battery tray "if rusted to fuck get a new one"

get a good earth wire and bolt it to the car chasis remove all paint and bolt down

go to halfords and get a pos and neg terminal "i got earth wire from there to"

bolt batterey tray to the boot floor i put it in wheel well "removed spare wheel bracket"

then i got the power wire from
http://www.autoeurope.co.uk/

he even fitted the end bits on

run that down the car cut off the pos terminal and join together i cut half the terminal off and used the bolt and hole them taped up and out of way.

the neg terninal i just taped up out of the way

then connect it all up

any holes in boot floor to bolt the baterey tray down i waxoiled afterwards to stop it from rusting

No problems in starting your car with the battery in the boot? I thought the longer wire would cause a loss in power at the other end, maybe very minimal i dont know?
