spent a few hours on it today and got a result,
First of all i choped and rewelded the linkage like in the picture, - we had movement in gears,
then tried to set up, was hitting the engine mount,
so then removed teh spacer,
was no good,
refitted spacer and modified the rear mount, RESULT,

got a decnet feel to them also works well with the short shift LMF linkage,

thanks all have all the gears now, reverse is a little tight but its all there,
il let know how it goes on road test

i thought this was the way but wasnt sure as i though if i remove that it mite not select gears rite???
have u done one b4?
was it hard to set up?
will select gears fine ive done a few. just reset the linkage like it says in the haynes. easy to do. and as muppet said straighten the bar he said otherwise it fouls the rack

if its the bit of the linkage, right side of picture where it goes onto the actual gear selectror rod for inside the car that you mean, ie its straight then angled back towards the bulk head, just striaghten it all out to match the lower end. then it wont catch the rack. had to do that on mine. gets gears no worries.

you have to shorten a nova linkage for f28 like lee mitchell describes above as well though

its about the distance of that rod that is required, i can only try i guess, i give it a bash and let u know how i get on

the bit that is coloured orange is removed and the 2 existing bits welded together so they touch and is alot smaller

Speak to Patrick at Mathijssentechnics. LMF will only be going by what Patrick's saying, so maybe Patrick can explain it a bit more.

The 2-litre Corsa linkage is designed for the F20, not F28.
