there wasnt one on wen i took it off, so thought nothing ov it.. thn lookin in haynes... mate werks at vaux so he'll get me it :)

Dunno bout it effecting the revs, but an air leak could in theory i suppose.
And anyway, yes you need a little o ring that sits on the ICV, its orange i think, n i woulda thought it cost mere pence to get a new one.

iver replaced my icv as ECU light was on n it told me if was tht.... but wen i replaced it it still idles alllllll over .... also theres now a hissing/sucking noise.
when i looked through haynes it mentioned a O - Ring seal? i didnt hav one of there... cud this be casuing the hissing/sucking there for sucking or blowingair to still make the revs mad?
in other werds do i need this O ring seal?
