^ i dunno i sent it to a garage to get the job done......i was lazy.....:o

surely they would have checked this though....

i'm half tempted to take the thing appart myself.... so much for sending it to a garage to save me hassle.... they fooked one of engine mounting bolts and didnt put the speedo cable back in right resulting in it snapping....

Was the flywheel discoloured on the friction surface? And the same for the pressure plate?

Why would a brand new clutch slip?

its not oil the cable is loosened off as far as i can get it before it would be a problem getting it into gear.

the problem started when i lost all gears except third and fouth(didnt tighten gear linkage properly whe doing engine conversion)

i had to drive 9 miles with only 3rd&4th and there was ALOT of red traffic lights on the way which meant alot of starts in third.

so i thought i had fryed the clutch so go it changed but the problem is still there.....

i'm stumped :o:boggle:
