Do a search on this topic mate, there hundreds of threads on this.

One thing though, DO NOT USE THE ECOTEC, go for the more powerful Red Top :thumbs:

well im not 2 sure about the ecotec but if you were to use the red top c20xe out of an earlier calibra astra or cav then you need a new exhaust and new hubs and shafts an ectoec pipe and adapter or powercap as the sfi box doesnt fit. The red top engine is also alot easier to tune for more power altho they may have a high milage on them now but a rebuild can sort that out and then they will go for ages

i am thinking of puttin a 2 litre 16v calibra engine in my corsa gsi. i know i need the loom, ecu, and a gearbox but does the car need to have an exhaust change and wot else does it need. the engine is a 2 litre 16v ecotec.
