never said u couldent live without one
but its always better to have one

if waters gettin the the car its eather the plastic trim under the scuttle panel has need taken out/cut wrong etc etc and the rubber bung is not in right where the loom enters.
water shouldent get near your heater Matrix if the plastric trim is on.

do u know what i mean my plastic trim?

do u think mate I know paddy had a bit of a problem with that when fitting the power cap do you deffo think its not the heater matrix ? I am going to have to get myself to a scrap yard then and get it sorted or my car is going to be stinking which is not what I need after spending a fortune on it

by the looks of thigs u have pulled the plastic strip which runs under your cuttle panel out. which is the problem

also is the rubber bung in where the Looms come thre the bulk head, as water will run down the threw the hole into the the drivers foot well

Basically I aint sure whats happening is when I start the car water comes down from under the dash in the drivers side footwell and it pisses in only when its been raining but the heater always steams the window up when it shouldnt and basically steam comes out of it too

well if u can that is.
as the XE in a small bay will not get over hot but the cooler the better.
just see if u can get new fixings and find there the oil is coming from.

I have taken it off cos there was oil p!ssing out everywhere Beardy and the general oppinion from people was to take it off although I am having doubts now as to the temp of the oil whats the best thing to do now ? leave it or try and get it fixed or get new pipes, it was right next to the exhaust not sure if it was that or bad connections mate have no idea what caused the leak
