basicly, long, slow bass lines like in garage, drum&bass, hip hop, r&b etc sound best with a ported box, and fast bass lines like in dance, hard house sound best in a sealed box... easy :thumbs: | |

i listen to hip hop n RnB and still prefer it sealed. | |

depends what music you listen to. If you listen to rock music, etc then you want it sealed.If you listen to stuff like r & b type music then you want it ported. | |

I don't personally lik ports in boxes but if done right for the right kinda music i guess than can b ok. | |

good morning, just got an alpine 12" type R sub with a box from car audio security, what difference would it make if i was to port/vent the box? |
