but is it still ok too jsut move the port too 1 of the sides rather than it being above the sub??

depending on the size of the port, VIBE do a port blocker (not sure on proper name of it). try the vibe website, think its something like www.v-i-b-e.com or maybe just www.vibe.com

its basically like a cork in a bottle, then you can have either ported or sealed. although like said above, for sealed the box should really be a slightly different size

right been a change, NEW reason y i have too change, ive done my install, all running well, the only prob is now the port of the box is right near the rear of the boot, so the air cant get out fast enough. is it ok too jsut move it too the side wuithout effecting it in any way???

ported boxes are deeper, what you might want to try is adjusting the length of the tube by either cutting it as seen as you were going to throw it away or buy an ajustable one

youd have to resize the box m8 ported boxes are made allot bigger than sealed boxes. How much depends on the sub/ subs. ported sounds better than sealed in general why do you want to change?
