Standard alarm is a piece of piss to get rid of...but unless u know what your doing your best off paying because alarms and wiring are not really the thing to "have a pop at"!!! It wont be much just to get standard shite removed tho!!

i got this problem with my vaux alarm at the mo, turns wont fire untill it puts ignition light on, the only solution i got is im gettin my motor booked in for £380 worth of new clifford alarm, they are removing the vaux one my existing clifford alarm and replacing with new, you may not have to do this but my car cuts out too because of it

Yeah could be the key...although i dont think it sounds like an alarm problem??? I would suggest getting rid of the standard one tho, standard alarm+after market 1 = pain in the arse!! If u have an AI606 u dont need the vaux shite!!
