You can't base it all that loosely carbs are as good as injectors if set up correctly the main reason fuel injection was used was for economy and a more reliable delivery of fuel. But how any one can say carbs are poo is beyond me because all a SPI system is is basically an electronically controlled carburettor so they each have there own merits so its up to you which one u would use twin carbs or Tb's | |

carbs can be tuned easyer then injection ie fit bigger carbs more fuel air more power | |

I imagine you would be able to gain aperformance gain by using carbs as they are more easily tuneable than an ecu. | |

Hi Sach, if it's just a single carb. i.e std then he's talking poo. Injection is better, else why would all car manufacteurs move to it? | |

Carb's are the old mechanical method for mixing the air/fuel together. | |
