Got myself some NGK copper core plugs and a champion oil filter as Vauxhall were closed:mad:

Also Castrol GT-X oil, champion fuel filter and some Vauxhall HT leads soon.
Also give it a full de-coke and clean the Idle Control Valve and Induction kit.

If that doesn't do it I am gonna beat the shit out of it.

Proper maintenance should never be denied. I change oil every 3, 4K and only use special racing oil now:)
Change sparks every 4K and do not forget to change the fuel filter:D
Clean the air filter and remove the spare wheel for the acceleration runs.
After 78K my cars still pulls till 7300 rpm, and when checking cylinder compression all four cylinders where at 98% of the max.
The mechanic just scratch the head:lol:

That's because you're a poser:lol:
9000 miles to change oil:lol: good for the rings and bores:lol:
just do proper maintenance and fit an inlet manifold:cool:
115 bhp and 7300 rpm, that shoul be enough:)

ive got a corsa sri 8v and i cant beat a 16v on acceleration thats with ma 17's on and the 16v on 15's

Got a performance problem. My car struggles to beat a 1.4 8v sri corsa and a 1.3 16v Honda Civic. It's a 1.4 16v SRi.
has 64k on the clock and a green cotton induction kit with no flat spots and 2 cold air feeds.

Now IMO I should be quicker than those two cars and it feels a little sluggish. It has never had new leads, 1 set of plugs and the oil has not been changed for 9000 miles.

The Civic has 17's, the other Corsa 15's. I have 14's.

I know it's a bit of a 'bo wicked neon washer jet gonna race you'question but any help appreciated.

:(:D
