what u really need is a set of metal formed arches which won t move

i suppose i could cover the existing ones in cling film, cover them with fibreglass mat, wait till it dries, they take the plastci arch off, blend the fibreglass one on then fill up the back with expanding foam and skim over that with fibreglass too.

 can you not make a fibreglass copy of the plastic arch?? would be easier to fix then.

i always do that, lol. only way to learn, i would rather have to do it twice than pay someone hidious amounts of money to do it for me.

yeah sounds like a good idea, what ill probs do is use trim adheasive aka tigerseal, bolt on inthe places it can be, then use bumper fill in the recess gap then fibreglass mat over the top and about 4 inchs up the door then blend that in, ohwell its worth a try if it cracks i can redo it, lol.

i'd put loads of tigerseal on the reverse of the arch then bolt back on. then get the plastic filler and smooth in.

i aint a pro mind so i could be miles out
trile and errors the best way :D

i'd just bond em flush the best u can, if u smooth em into bodywork the heating temps will be different to original bodywork, good chance of cracks
