Try this out mine worked press the clutch all down and put it in first gear if you see the car is moving a bit foward with the clutch still pressed you need to adjust the clutch!

The P1 does it all the time as does the 200sx. The joys of the quickshift! :(

quote: waiting while the clutch will take longer, putting it into gear will slwo the gear down much quicker, yes, it does't have to be in second, but wouldn't advise first. lifting up the knob makes no difference, as someone else has mentioned.

push down the clutch, give the car a sec to stop spinning, then put it in reverse u should get no crunch. also if u wanna reverse straight after start up put the clutch down before u start the engine :-)

putting it in any gear before putting it in reverse will slow the gear set down doesnt need to be second.

put any gear in with the reverse thing pulled up, i usually put 3rd in then put it in reverse with the reverse thing still pulled and it won't do it any more it work fine now on my b

I think the manual actually suggests leaving a second or two pause, before putting in reverse from a driven gear.

yeah mine does, as did my astra, there is no syncromesh on reverse, so it will crunch unless u feed it in really really gently! p.s. the exhaust will be on its way real soon, just gotta fit mine, shud be done today or tomoz!
