stubbsys car - they com-pletely stripped thaat and buried mort of the cables in the foam under the carpet

he was having retrim and roof build as well - so they clearly hd to take it all out

I took out all of the passenger side on mine - rolled the carpet back and took the rear seats out

one of the ground places is the rear seat belt bolts....but dont hold me to that mate with it being the best place, but as long as its a clean bit of metal (no paint on it) then it should be fine :) Where ever you choose mate, give it a scrub with wire wool and brush it off. Just to make sure there will be good contact :)

is 2 gauge to big to run down the sills ???
If it is then bugger, thats what i was hoping to run to the back and i dont wanna really remove the seats etc :(

i removed the carpet, cause i was having problems running a 2 gauge power cable down the side, but for smaller setups just run it under the lower door plastic. as for the tools i bought a cheap set of star keys for £2 from a local shop. does the same job

I'm pulling my whole car to bits and am gonna dynamat floor under carpet etc.. as me damn zorst is soo noisy it ruins the music!
Gonna take a couple of weeks all in with the fibreglassing but it'll be worth it.

i managed to do it without taking the seats out (didn't have a big enuf torx bit for the seats). but took the sills out and lifted teh carpet up as much as poss.

powercable under left sills,
rcas under right sills,
speaker cables down the middle.

gettin' wires down the middle is a right pain with the seats there, but it is possible.

if your gonna only pass wires thru the sills, i wouldn't bother taking the seat out. Don't remeber it being too difficult.

Definitly no need to take out seats, it can be easily done without this by just runnig it along the sills under the plastic!

i took out my passenger seat and rear bench seat. also took up all the carpet. well worth it IMO. just takes a long time and make sure u remember where ever bolt goes. ive got about 2 little screws that i cant remember where they went :boggle:

Yip, you'll need one of those little 'torx screws'. Everyone knows someone with one of those, get phoning round yuor mates if you don't have one or the right size. It can take a little time to put all the wires through the car but definfitly worth it in the end!

run it under the side sill thingys, but mines (power cable)straight up the centre of the car.

... your wiring in?? Did you take seats out and pull carpet up like in the haynes manual, id rather not do this!!

Obviously want power cable down the left side and rca's down the right but how have you all got it down through to tha boot?? Ta
