Can anyone actually help me? Are there certain fuses which I should check first? Sorry, don't know too much about electrics. Cheers

Ok thanks m8, will a buzzer do? Was definitely my fault making the short, nice sparks though :P Just worried about the battery light coming on when I start the engine, does this mean my battery is not being charged?

Its a fuse some where mate

Easiest way is to get a multi meter and check every use and hope it hasnt blown for any reaons other that you made a temporary short.

sounds like youve shorted summit while messing around in there. i think thats why your battery light is comming on cos its draining the battery.

all i can say is get in there and have a look around for any wires out of place or shorted wires (i.e. touching terminals):boggle:

Hi

Had my dash out and was fuckin around with it, anyway i fucked something and think i've blown some fuses (least I hope thats all it is). This is what works/doesn't work:

Works
Indicator led on dash
Main beam led on dash
Fog lamp led on dash
Interior Light
Stereo
Fan
Dashboard illumination
Hazard switch
MFD
Alarm and C/L

Doesn't Work
Centre console illumination
Light switches illumination
Leccy windows/mirrors inc led's in them
Oil/batt/handbrake dash lights
Fuel dash light
All needles (well speedo tacho n fuel at least)
Glovebox light

Think that's about it. Oh and once i've started the car, the battery light illuminates on dash, despite having been off before starting. What have i done!! :!

Cheers in advance,
Nesh :(
