Most injectors are the same fitment, so you could fit them. But as said they would just cause the engine to massively overfuel. Even if you have reached maximum duty cycle on the standard injectors you cant just change them for bigger ones, the fueling will have to be reduced accordingly electronically.

You really need independent engine management before you can change the injectors, or you can increase the fuel pressure.

Im running c20xe cream injectors on my 1.6 16v.

very true, td's tend too run lean hence probably why the injectors help loads :)

thing with the petorl engine though if there is more fuel going in, but there aren't any other mods, it can just make it run lumpy & seriously overfuel the engine, so performance would be down

Only would come in handy if it was turbo'd or SC'd, or if it was pushing mega-power & the original injectors can't supply enough fuel, but this is highly unlikely unless ya spend mega £££'s on the engine!

The cosworth injectors would be useless on the engine, just end up flooding it!

Cossie injectors will fit.
The injectors on the 1.4 are the same as on a 1.6 so i doubt ur going to need to uprate them unless you put a turbo on.

What would be the point exactly?? Unless the engine is demanding alarming rates of fuel, you wont get any advantage over standard injectors with a standard engine

could have them cleaned if you feel they are underperforming

no point unless pushing mega power. Those Bosch injectors are quite up to the job.

Would uprating the injectors in my 1.4 16v sport make much diffrence and if so out of which car could i take them from?

Thanks:rolleyes:
