I thought you'd be able to mount a fuel pressure regulator after the standard one to reduce the fuel pressure below standard but thinking bout it now it wouldn't work as the standard fuel pressure regulator would still hold standard pressure between the regulator and pump.
Also wouldnt work in the inlet pipe (i dont think?)

There's no reason ud want to do it anyway so it dont really matter.:thumbs:

Can you there aint a pipe between the standard fpr and the fuel rail, they are one thing i think???

You can fit a FPR with the standard one still in place. You wont be able to adjust it below standard pressure (you wouldn't want to anyway).

I imagin it just goes inline in the fuel outlet pipe after the std fpr.

Mine injectors didnt max out until 7000rpm@147bhp, it was only 7000rpm that it needed slightly more fuel.
Until your injectors max out and are at full cycle its not worth increasing the fuel pressure.
Best off finding out on a rolling road that ur injectors have maxed out 1st.
If uve got 140bhp and its properly mapped then i doubt ul see a benifit, and even then it'll probably only be 0.5bhp at the redline.
Not having ur engine properly mapped could loose you 5bhp easily.

You get a special adapter to replace the standard fuel pressure regulator which just passes the fuel through to the FSE regulator.
You shouldn't need a different fuel pressure regulator (if your engine is mapped properly) unles you've got 145+bhp.

oh well never mind it was free so no harm done, they dont do that much anyway, all i ever hear about them is over fueling etc.
maybe in the future then, thats what i thought i knew the fuel pressure regulator was on the fuel rail, so how does the vauxhall specific one work, is the fuel regulator just bypassed

You'll need a vauxhall specific FSE or to buy a new fuel rail as the standard fuel pressure regulator is mounted on to the fuel rail.
